Homemade Bread

So about 2 years ago I found a breadmaker on sale and bought it. It was ridiculously cheap. Now the only time I had ever made bread was with my grandmother years ago so I had no business buying it because god knows when I was going to use it. So it sat in my kitchen cabinets, in the box it came for years. When we moved last year, I saw it and almost sold it but kept it and dragged it here to NC. Well I finally used it the other day.

Wow, who knew making bread was so easy!! You just put in all the ingredients and turn on the machine and that's it. And it was delicious. It made the house smell good and I think making your own bread will save tons of money in the long run. Tom was shocked I would even try this at home. Of course, he didn't know how easy it really was. I am making more bread today because this weekend we are going to have a New Year's Thanksgiving. (Only because I got a free Turkey at our local grocery store) And I am going to use homemade bread to make my famous sausage, mushroom stuffing. YUMMO!

Okay all this cooking is not helping the waistline. Well okay it is, it's helping it grow!!! Yikes. Time to go exercise!
