Poor groundhog?? That poor groundhog just sentenced us to six more weeks of winter! Poor us! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's our punishment for dragging the poor thing out at daybreak in front of the masses. ;)
ReplyDeleteHahaha - you may have a point, there. The one in New York bit the mayor, I think, so they get their revenge!
ReplyDeleteRegardless of whether or not the groundhog sees his shadow, there are 6+ weeks of winter left anyway.
ReplyDeleteAstronomically, winter starts with the winter solstice (Dec 21) and ends with the vernal equinox (March 20).
So, it is a poor groundhog indeed... as he's being disturbed for no good reason.
Yes, poor groundhogs! I think it should become a national holiday. Any excuse for a day off!
ReplyDeleteseriously? 6 more weeks til winter. 6 more weeks til spring. What the hell is the difference. How come no one has explained this to the world? That groundhog is a scam artist!
