Tom is going to Birmingham, AL for a conference and he asked me to tag along. Of course, I said yes. I've never been to Birmingham so I am looking forward to it. I found us a cool B&B in town called the Cobb Lane B&B and we will be there relaxing. Well, I will be relaxing while Tom has to work. We will be leaving tomorrow!
It'll be nice to sightsee. There are a few places I will go like the Civil Rights Institute and the Art museum. Plus, I will be able to gorge myself on Japanese food since there is none here in old Sylva. And I know we will find some good country cooking!
I will have my laptop but I am sure I won't be on too much. Hopefully, I will be able to take some pics and tell you a little about my trip when I get back. Don't miss me too much!

ReplyDeleteHave fun in Birmingham. I use to live 45 minutes away from B'ham and it is a really beautiful city. You are going to love the Civil Rights Institute. Not only is admission free, (yay frugalness), but it is really nice on the inside. And the grounds around it are beautiful too.
