Following the Program Pays off

Nutrisystem is providing me the Nutrisystem food free of charge for my weight loss journey. The compensation received will never influence the content of my posts. No other form compensation has been offered or given.

Since I am totally off kilter since my Mexico trip, I decided to post my Nutrisystem updates on Thursdays from now on. If you read my post last week you all know it was an off week. I neither gained nor lost weight. I decided to be good and get back on the plan and try to do some exercising as well. Except for the weekend when I ate my Olla de Carne, I kept pretty much to the program this week.

But I have to say that the past week since I came back from Mexico I sort of lost my appetite and had to force myself to eat. If anyone knows me, they know I don't ever forget to eat and never miss a meal. It was strange. I just sort of lost my taste for food. Not only the Nutrisystem food but all food. I have no idea why. I was busy trying to get back into the groove but I am never too busy to eat. But this weekend, I sort of got hungry again but it has been tough to stick to the program when I am not hungry. Luckily the portions are small so I made myself eat. I am thinking I must dying or have some terminal illness because I am never ever NOT hungry.

Anyway, besides my craziness and hypochonria, I am glad to report that I lost two pounds this week. YAY ME!! And this is even without exercising a lot. It seems I have also lost my taste for exercising as well. Okay, let's be honest, I NEVER had a taste for exercising so I am exagerrating. I think after laying around a luxury hotel for a few days with my sister also made me lazier than I already am. I came back and can't even face the evil Wii. I did just to get my weight and, of course, it made snarky vil remarks about me not being around. I did, however, order the new Wii Fit Plus in hopes that might get me excited to exercise again but it really hasn't helped. And the new Wii Fit Plus is just as evil as the old Wii Fit.

Sue me, I am lazy. I know it and going on vacation just made it worse. I am hoping I get motivated again. But I figure things go in phases and I am hoping the exercise phase comes around again. But I am happy with my progress because that makes me 12 pounds down. That is pretty darn good. And I should do well in the next few weeks. I am worried about Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up but if I follow the Nutrisystem plan and follow the portion sizing and better choices, I should survive the holidays without gaining weight!
Wish me luck!
