Get used to me posting gratuitous pictures of Jim Morrison when I have to announce endings! Yes, this is another The End post. This time I am saying goodbye to Fall. These pictures prove that Fall is over and Winter is fast approaching. I dislike Winter. I don't hate Winter but dislike it a whole lot. Mainly the cold and whatever snows falls in our area. Luckily we don't get tons but still. I do hate snow. Sure it's pretty when it falls and covers the ground in a white blanket of purity but it's still snow
. Boo!

Winter excites me!! I love it to see the snow coming. I do love fall as well and hate to see it going!
ReplyDeleteI can't blame you for not raking- you have a HUGEEEEEE yard LOL
ReplyDeleteOooo, I love winter...but since you don't I hope it's a mild one where you live! :)
ReplyDeleteRake them? I thought that was why we had wind LOL! It stinks the cold is COMING!
ReplyDeleteHere's mine: http://www.jleighdesignz.com/2009/11/almost-wordless-wednesday-handmade.html
Wow, what a beautiful, big yard!! I would probably be too lazy to rake the leaves too.
ReplyDeleteI love Fall! Leaves and all. :)
ReplyDeleteI love these photos! Yes, fall is definitely ending here in Kansas too! We had our first snowfall already. I am so not ready for this yet :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not ready for winter yet at all! I'd be happy if fall just hung around awhile longer!
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for winter but I also enjoy fall.
ReplyDeleteI'm not ready for fall to be over...
ReplyDeleteI know, it seems like fall came and went quickly this year. I hate when all the leaves are gone! The whole world looks intensely gray and gloomy! Great quotes!
ReplyDeleteIt's all drying up, dying, and looking so barren, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Almost all the leaves are finished here. I welcome winter.
ReplyDeleteWOW. Let me first talk about Jim. You just gave me a major flashback. In my teens I was totally and utterly obsessed with him. I had every album, CD, poster, book, etc. I could find online or in stores. I was obsessed to an unhealthy degree. Then, I slowly grew out of that obsession to a stable admiration. WOW - flashback!
ReplyDeleteNow then, we have said goodbye to fall too. Last week our trees went naked. Sad. I love fall.
Naked trees make me sad...
ReplyDeleteI've decided to embrace winter with a cute new winter coat, warm boats and fun accessories. Off to shop.... :D
I wish that fall would stick around a bit longer...at least until Thanksgiving! We have already had our first snowfall of the year.
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday!
I keep singing, "Let it snow."
ReplyDeleteLOL
I miss Fall.
Fall is my most favorite time of year. I do like snow, though - as long as it's actual snow and not ice...it does a great job covering up the 'drabness' of winter. I would prefer if Fall stuck around a lot longer, though, with its brilliant colors... :)
ReplyDeleteYes. We are definitely out of the beautiful portion of fall and now, we are into the dead portion.
ReplyDeleteI just got all Randy seeing Jim Morrison. yum.
ReplyDeleteone thing i wont miss about the country. all the leaves. they look nice but they sure make a mess!!
ReplyDeleteWinter is my least favorite time
ReplyDeleteWe don't really have seasons here, so they are not marked like yours.......they all sort of blend together. Sigh. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty much what fall is like in FL, but less pretty. Just fallen leaves!
