Wordless Wednesday - Here fishy fishy

I was outside the other day and went to the pond to see if Fish was still there. Last year, Fish survived the winter. This year, I'm not so sure. I went out and saw the pond was totally frozen over with a huge block of ice. Fish might be dead or maybe he will live to see another summer.

  4. My parent's fish used to survive the winters in PA. I think they hibernate or something. Good luck.

  5. I would have never thought they could survive in a pond in the winter, but what do I know??? That's really neat he survived last year and hopefully he's just hiding out until it's warm enough to surface. :)

  7. I bet he is fine. My father-in-law in PA always keep several and his pond would freeze as well.

  10. Yeah they can usually survive this sort of freeze. x-boyfriend's parents have them in Virginia, it ices over. In the spring thaw they are still there. :D

    Here's a little diddy I found you might want to look into. How deep is that pond?
