Carolyn in Carolina - South Carolina that is

Sunday we decided to go for a drive because Tom finally had a free day. It was also beautiful weather. We were going to go to Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina but decided to take the back road drive toward Cashiers where I work. It was a beautiful drive.

The leaves are just starting to turn and we had never been on that road. It is still not peak leaf season but in a few weeks it will be.

We ended up driving toward Wahalla, SC but got distracted and ended up at Lake Keowee, SC. Yes, we are very willy-nilly that way. We often jump in the car and just drive and see where it will take us.

After the Lake, we drove back to North Carolina and had a late lunch and then went to WalMart for a little shopping. Then back home. It was a nice drive and we discovered a new place!
