Wordless Wednesday ~ Green Egg

I finally had the opportunity to eat one of my green eggs that I got from a co-worker. Many people wondered if they were different from regular eggs.

They are not and they are just as tasty! Yummo!

Is it naturally green or coloured green? If it's natural, where can I get some?!

We have had green eggs before. They do taste just the same as other eggs ... but probably better since they are local and fresh! :)

One of my dad's chickens lays green eggs. They are so pretty! It just depends on the breed.

We love green eggs! A couple of my girls lay light green/aqua ones. I also love the rosy ones. My great grandpa had exotics that laid little colored speckled ones when I was little! Eggs are awesome!

Was it yummy? :)

They are just from a different breed of chicken than what is used for store eggs. The brown eggs are another different breed. Supposedly the green/blue eggs are lower in cholesterol.

did you eat it with ham like Sam I Am?

That's really awesome! For some reason I thought you meant the inside was green but I am going to blame that on the late hour! Glad it was yummy :)
