Wordless Wednesday ~ We will always have Shawn

Yes, we are creepy and morbid. I got a canvas with one of my favorite Shawn pictures and it now lives on our mantle with her ashes. I feel like we are the Addams Family or something.

It's hard, losing a beloved pet. Our pets are our furkids. We love them just like our (non-furry) kids. We had a dog cremated and his little wooden box is surrounded by angel figurines. So, you're not alone, in your morbidity ;)

I think that's a sweet memorial, not creepy.

don't feel bad. The two cats we've lost in the past year and a half are on display in our house too, their ashes and framed 5x7s of each of them. I'm really sorry for your loss.

Not creepy at all. Pets are like children, and losing them is always hard. I thin its wonderful you can always remember him.

we have a photo up of our Kayla (dog) who passed and our girls are always looking at it and talking about her.

I think its beautiful. To have that kind of love for a pet is amazing. I'd have it no other way :)

It is beautiful! And when our dog Chase died when I was a teen, we took his ashes and spread them on the path in the woods he'd always come running out of when we'd drive in.
