Wordy Wednesday ~ I Got Punked!

I work at a school and every Tuesday they have a faculty meeting in the Library. I don't attend because technically I am not a faculty member because I work for the foundation.

I get to work and I also notice there are a lot of the faculty members milling around. I figured the meeting went on a little longer than usual.

I find an innocuous sign saying "Happy Birthday Carolyn. It's a Blessing" on my door. The "It's a blessing" part is an inside joke. Anyway, I open my office and they had wrapped most of it with streamers and tulle. They also tossed like a zillion cutout stars all over the place. I got punked. It was hilarious though. Now I know why people were milling around. They wanted to see my reaction.

I started cleaning it before I realized I should take a picture. The picture is not great but let me tell you they really went wild. Then I was forced to pose with the disaster!

It was a good way to start the day. And yes, my office is usually that dark because I am like a vampire!
