My Treadmill Playlist

Yesterday, I hopped on the treadmill after avoiding it for about a month. I could make excuses but I won't. I was lazy and didn't feel like exercising.

But I decided to get back on the horse and start this new year at least getting some exercise in. If anything, a few miles a week, go a long way.

I don't have an iPod so I use my Droid to play music when exercising. Boy, did I miss my music. I don't have a lot of music but I have chosen a few songs that really get me in the mood to exercise. I usually start slow with a little Tori Amos and then move on to some rock, pop and then salsa/merengue to really get me moving. Then I go back to something slower when I am doing my cool down.

I was able to go 1.5 miles although I was up to about 2.5 a few months ago. It's all about baby steps people.

Anyway, here is part of my play list!

David Bowie: Let's Dance and Modern Love
Queen: This Thing Called Love and Killer Queen
MarcAnthony: Y Hubo Alguien and Nadie Como Ella
Shakira: Ojos Asi, Suerte and Te Aviso, Te Anuncio
Elvis Crespo: Suavemente, Tu Sonrisa and Pintame
Michael Jackson/Jackson 5: ABC, Shake Your Body, Beat It, Thriller, Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'
Earth, Wind and Fire: September
rick Springfield: Love Somebody, Jessie's Girl, I've Done Everything For You
Will Smith: Gettin' Jiggy With It and Welcome to Miami
Oscar D'leon: Me Voy Pa' Cali
Ricky Martin: Maria, She Bangs, Living La Vida Loca and La Bomba
Jennifer Lopez: Waiting for Tonight
Def leppard: Pour Some Sugar on Me
Tori Amos: All of Scarlet's Walk CD
