Wordless Wednesday ~ The River Wild

Okay, it's not that wild but because of the rain the river in front of our house has risen. I took the top picture a few days ago. I took one yesterday. They are not the same angle and not very good quality but you can see how much it went up. It never gets that high. Hopefully, the rain will stop and it stays where it is.

We never had flooding while we lived here but it has happened. Luckily, the weather looks like it will be getting better.

  7. Have you ever looked into getting flood insurance. Hate to be a downer, but with the weather being so odd now, you might want to.

  10. It was raining a lot here a few weeks ago - the lake is up as far as it is in the summer! We were going to do some work around the shore, but have to wait until it goes back down!
