There is a bridge in Costa Rica where you can stop on the side and see crocodiles. I have done this a zillion times. Because we were on the road on this last trip, we stopped and I went to see the crocs again. They are not little. In fact, they are huge. And they are always there.
The scary part is that every year some crazy person, always a tourist, decides to go down to get a better look. Then they get eaten. Let me tell you that their heads are as big as half my body. This time, there were quite a few sunning themselves.
They scare me.
Oh goodness why would anyone want to get a closer look. They look scary enough from afar. LOL
ReplyDeleteBecause people are crazy!!
DeleteOMG, that's a lot of crocodiles. A lot of crazy people indeed.
ReplyDeleteI saw this on FB .... I giggled. I would not be okay with that many little Crocs.... they are sort of cute at that size though.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of them! One is too many for me!
ReplyDeleteeeek. people are crazy too! natural selection I suppose.
ReplyDeleteI have been to this bridge and it scares me even from the top.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's plenty close enough for me, thanks!
ReplyDeleteOMG I'd be running the other way so fast! We were in the Magic Kingdom once a few years ago when an alligator found it's way in and was by the river in Frontierland. Freaky! I'm so not a reptile fan. I don't even like to go in that building at the zoo.
ReplyDeleteaw so cute! I"m one of the crazy ones that loves gators and crocodiles :)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't go near them!
ReplyDeleteI seriously get scared just looking at this picture! I love animals & all but those guys are SCARY.
ReplyDeleteOh my!! No way would I ever want a closer look! yikes!
ReplyDeleteThey ARE scary! I would only "take a closer look" if they were DEAD!
ReplyDeleteThey look so small in that picture. That is the only way I want to ever see one.... in a picture
ReplyDeleteI lived in FL for a long time and I am scared of them too
