Apple Crisp

In my continuing effort to use up all the apples we bought, I tried another recipe. This time I made an Apple Crisp. It was an easy recipe but I prefer my apple pie. Here is how I made it:

Peel, core and slice some apples. I used about 6.

Add spices. I used cinnamon, all spice and sugar. I also added the juice of half a lemon. 

One cup of flour

One cup of brown sugar.

Add cold butter. About half a stick. 

Mix until it is crumbly. 

Add apples to a pie dish. 

Add the crumble to the top of the apples. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
