The Birds!

So I am sitting watching TV last week. From my chair, I can see our front yard. I get up and notice that there are tons of birds near our front porch. I go over to the window and notice there are A LOT of birds in our yard and the neighbors yard. And when I say A LOT, I mean like 100+. And it wasn't just one type of bird. It was a few.

These are terrible pictures but I grabbed the camera and tied to get a few shots. It was the creepiest thing because on minute they were not there, next minute there is a whole bunch. I was wondering when they would attack! They were there for about 30 minutes and then dispersed. Weirdness!

  1. We have a bunch of birds that sit outside the Home Depot every evening and sing away till the last streaks of light fill the sky.

  2. I've never had birds in my yard like that but we have LOADS of birds at the intersection near my house. They hang out on the power lines and street lights and occasionally fly from tree to tree. SO WEIRD.

  3. I had a lot of crows in my front yard last week, but you have tons of birds outside your house. They are probably really hungry looking for food and water. Really interesting picture!

  4. We have birds like that here in TX. I just seen on the news the local shopping center has even hired a man with a noise cannon to scare them off because they are making a mess everywhere and shoppers are complaining!

  5. I hope that means they are migrating north. Because that would mean spring is on the way to miserable snow covered Michigan. lol

  6. Looks like most of them were robins (who never attack anyone). They come to Colorado in the Spring (which it isn't yet).

  8. Wow, that would have alarmed me a bit too! They don't all look like crows so maybe it's not that scary, but still weird for so many to appear at once. We've had birds peck around in our yard like this as well, but not as many as this! I guess they're just scavenging for food and your yard was the best pit stop!
